ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court on Thursday ordered Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah to deposit Rs1.45 million within 15 days in a case pertaining to publishing pictures in official advertisements.
A bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar heard a case pertaining to printing of pictures in government advertisements. The Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governments submitted their reports in the court.
During the hearing, the court expressed dissatisfaction over report. The chief justice remarked that the former Punjab chief minister paid the money from his personal pockets.
Meanwhile, the court directed Sindh chief minister to deposit Rs1.45 million within 15 days.
Earlier, the court had ordered former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sahrif to deposit Rs5 million for publishing pictures in official advertisements.
