WASHINGTON (92 News) – US State Department Deputy Spokesperson Robert Palladino said that their policy towards Pakistan is clear, emphasizing the need for Pakistan to deliver outcome and build confidence and trust between two countries.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, he welcomed increasing the people-to-people contact between Pakistan and India.
“The opening of the Kartarpur border will provide a visa-free way for Indians to visit this important Sikh site. The United States would welcome efforts to increase people-to-people ties between India and Pakistan,” he said.
