Nawaz Sharif again undergoes medical check-up at Sharif Medical City

LAHORE (92 News) – Former premier Nawaz Sharif again underwent medical check-up at Sharif Medical City on Saturday.

The check-up continued for two and a half hours. His blood Samples were taken to conduct the tests of heart and kidney. He also underwent dental check-up.

Sources said that strategy would be devised after observing the effects of medicines.

During the check-up, no worker was allowed to enter hospital. A couple of days ago, Nawaz underwent a medical check-up.

Nawaz undergoes medical check-up

After his release from Kot Lakhpat jail, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif visited Sharif Medical Complex on Thursday.

Sources said that blood samples were taken for kidney and heart tests. They added that his sugar and blood tests were declared normal.

Nawaz Sharif underwent the medical check-up for 45 minutes. His personal physician Dr Adnan and other doctors took blood samples for different tests.

Source said that after the medical reports, Dr Lawrence would be contacted in London. “The final decision on his treatment will be made after consulting doctors and examining the medical reports.

Sources in the Sharif family said that Nawaz Sharif would undergo the heart and kidney treatment simultaneously at Sharif Medical Complex.

Meanwhile, the media representatives and security officials had an exchange of hot words over the coverage issue. The security officials also threatened to expel the media representatives.

Nawaz Sharif released from Kot Lakhpat jail

On Tuesday night, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was released from Kot Lakhpat Jail after the Supreme Court suspended his sentence in Al-Azizia reference for six weeks and granted him bail on medical grounds.

PML-N senior leader Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry received Nawaz Sharif at Kot Lakhpat Jail after presenting the court orders to the jail administration. Before leaving the prison premises, former premier mixed up with the jail staff and thanked the administration.

After the release, the ousted premier arrived  at his Jati Umra residence where PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif along with senior party leaders welcomed him.

He was driven through a massive crowd of supporters, some showering rose petals on the vehicle while others waved party flags and chanted slogans. A large number of PML-N supporters also gathered outside his residence to welcome their leader.
