KARACHI (92 News) – After 11 years of the May 12 tragedy, the Sindh government has announced to form a joint investigation team (JIT) to probe into the matter.
The Karachi police chief will head the JIT comprising officers of sensitive agencies.
92 News had raised the issue of a delay in forming the JIT.
Around 50 people were killed on roads by armed gunmen in Karachi when the then deposed chief justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry arrived in the city to address the Sindh Bar Council.
He could not get out the airport to enter the city because of the killing spree on roads.
