Student detained in North Korea has left the country, Australian prime minister Scott Morrison confirms
Alek Sigley, the 29-year-old Australian missing in North Korea, has left the country and is now safe in China, according to media reports.
The NK News reported on Thursday that Sigley – who has not been heard from for more than a week, sparking fears he had been detained by the repressive regime – was now “safe and sound” in China.
