WASHINGTON DC (92 News) – The United States on Friday gave approval to $125 million worth of support for Pakistan’s F-16 fighter planes.
Washington DC has approved the amount for technical and logistic support of US-built fighter jets.
The approval comes five days after Prime Minister Imran Khan had met US president Donald Trump at the White House.
The US State Department and US Defense Security Cooperation Agency approved the amount for Pakistan.
The potential sale will support US foreign policy and national security “by protecting US technology through the continued presence of US personnel that provide 24/7 end-use monitoring,” the statement announcing the Pakistan approval read.
