SpaceX’s shiny, bullet-shaped Starship has exploded during touchdown after a six-and-a-half-minute test flight in a remote corner of Texas.
It was the highest and most elaborate flight yet for the rocket ship that Elon Musk says could carry people to Mars in as little as six years. Despite the catastrophic end, Musk was thrilled.
