PESHAWAR: At least four people were killed and 50 others injured in a blast at a madrassah in Peshawar’s Dir Colony on Tuesday morning, police and rescue officials said.
Those killed and injured include madrassah students. Many of the injured are said to be in critical condition.
A heavy contingent of law enforcement agencies has cordoned off the spot of the explosion and begun collecting evidence. The nature of the blast is unclear yet.
