PTI leader Liaquat Gondal was stabbed to death by unknown men in Jhelum Wednesday night, according to the police.
His body has been sent to Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter and are searching for the killers.
Federal Science Minister Fawad Chaudhry was a close friend of the deceased. He went to the hospital and Gondal’s house as well to condole with his family.
The minister also met the police and was assured by a DPO that the suspects will be caught soon.
