A jawan of the Abbottabad police’s Elite Force was shot dead in Mansehra Tuesday night.
Muhammad Shabbir left his house for taraweeh prayers within the jurisdiction of the Khaki police station when he was attacked.
His assailants fled after opening fire at him.
Shabbir’s body was sent to the King Abdullah Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
A case has been registered at the Khaki police station against unidenfied attackers.
