LAHORE (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz was shifted to Kot Lakhpat Jail from Camp Jail for security reasons on Friday.
On Wednesday, Accountability Court Judge Ameer Muhammad Khan had sent Hamza Shehbaz to Camp jail on judicial remand in a case of alleged money laundering and assets beyond means.
Hamza, the son of PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif, is facing inquiries in cases related to Ramzan Sugar Mills, money laundering and owning assets beyond means.
NAB had appealed to the court for a five-day extension in Hamza’s physical remand, who has been in the bureau’s custody since June 11.
