ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The prices of daily-use items have gone beyond the reach of a common man.Hoarders and profiteers have failed the steps taken by the government to check the price hike.
Profiteers again found a way to jack up prices by creating artificial shortage of commodities in local markets to raise prices and the government’s claim of regulating prices of essential commodities seems farcical.
Citizens said that the prices of pulses, fruits and vegetables have gone beyond the reach of the common man. Ginger, garlic, onion, tomatoes, coriander and green chilies – essential ingredient to cook meat – are being sold at exorbitant rates.
They complained that there was no mechanism to nab the profiteers who were selling daily-use items at high rates.
