A senior North Korean official who helped set up historic summits with Donald Trump has attended a concert alongside leader Kim Jong-un, according to state media, after previous reports he had been sent to a labour camp.
There had been speculation about the fate of Kim Yong-chol after a South Korean newspaper reported last week that he had been subjected to forced labour and “ideological education”.
