BEIJING (92 News) – Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang has said that Pakistan is always one of China’s diplomatic priorities and China firmly supports it in safeguarding its sovereignty and dignity.
Addressing a press briefing in Beijing on Tuesday, the spokesman said that Pakistan and China firmly support each other on the issues concerning our core interests.
“We commend the Pakistani government’s and people’s efforts in fighting terrorism and extremism and their great endeavours and sacrifices to this end,” he said.
He called international community to fairly and justly see Pakistan’s endeavours and contributions in counter terrorism and step up dialogue and cooperation with the country.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has urged the need to speed up work for basic infrastructure and industrial development to meet the challenges of economy being faced by the world.
He said this while addressing leaders’ roundtable meeting of the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing today.
Prime Minister Imran Khan with several other world leaders was also present on the occasion.
Chinese President asked to open borders among the countries for increasing trade and to upgrade the living standards of people.
Chinese President said Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is an important forum for the economic development of the entire region.He also called for joint efforts to meet the challenges of climate change.
