Khursheed Shah says protest against govt to continue in Parliament

Khursheed Shah Sukkur presser

SUKKUR: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Khursheed Shah on Sunday said that the protest against the federal government will continue in the Parliament, ARY News reported.

While talking to journalists in Sukkur, the politician expressed his thoughts on various matters citing the current political scenario.

Shah hinted that his political party would continue protesting against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led federal government over its wrong policies.

He said, “I regularly visit all government hospitals including Civil Hospital every week.”

Shah highlighted that Civil Hospital needs an expansion which has capacity of 200 patients. He complained that the doctors posted in Sukkur left for completing specialisation in their fields. He announced that the government was constructing special wards for gynaecology and child surgery.

Rejecting the claims of deteriorated healthcare facilities in Sindh, Shah said, “Nobody has ever valued services of Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT).

Commenting over fundings to provinces, he claimed, “Punjab had also received lesser share but they were not shouting [against the federal government] due to fear.”

Shah warned the federal government to review its policies going contrary to the interest of nationals, otherwise it will face severe consequences.
