LAHORE (92 News) – The Met Office has predicted light rain in Lahore, Sargodha and Gujranwala on Wednesday.
Murree and upper areas received light snowfall on Tuesday night.
On the other hand, dense fog engulfed several cities of Punjab. Traffic flow was badly affected due to zero visibility in fog-hit areas.
The Motorway was closed due to fog in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Multan and Khanewal.
According to the Met Office, a westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist.
Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, light rain with snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Mardan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Mainly very cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. Foggy conditions are likely to develop in plains of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning/night hours. Frost is expected in morning hours in upper parts of the country.
